If we have any questions, we will contact the artist. Applications may be dropped off at the gallery but will not be reviewed or discussed with the artist at that time. The entries will be selected by a jury committee. The artist is responsible for the cost of shipping work to and from the gallery. Image of the artwork: Must be in PDF or JPG format 300 DPI. Must include a check payable to Arts Visalia for total application fees. CD/DVD or USB flash drive images should be presented in JPEG format with image size set to 300 dpi resolution, 4″ x 6″ image size, approximately. Physical applications can be mailed to: PO BOX 251, Visalia, CA 93279. All applications should include a 2-3 sentence artist statement describing the intent of each artwork, with an optional artist biography. Submit your application BEFORE moving on to the payment page. Online Application Process (Preferred): Complete the online form below. Be sure to submit all images and include title, size, medium, price and year completed. Award of merit in each 2D & 3D category will receive $50.00 each Winners will receive $100.00 each and will be announced on during the First Friday reception on March 3 rd, 2023. Arts Visalia exhibits all media except video, sound, and performance.Īwards: Best of Show award juried by a panel and People’s Choice award is selected during the First Friday reception. Entries without payment will not be considered. All entries will be reviewed by a jury before acceptance into the exhibition. There is a $25.00 non-refundable application fee for the first entry and $5.00 non-refundable fee for each additional entry per person, with a maximum of three entries.
